Position Summary
The successful candidate will provide switchboard, reception and administrative support services to a busy elementary school in the Millwoods neighbourhood. This position contributes to the overall positive and welcoming school environment and culture.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- providing reception, clerical and administrative support services
- providing a lead role in coordinating, processing and maintaining student information, student records and the pre-enrolment process
- preparing, editing and formatting various correspondence, documents, reports and school publications
- coordinating student transportation communications and bus pass sales
- assisting with the preparation for school events including school opening and closing and student registration
Education/Qualifications
- post-secondary diploma in a recognized administrative assistant program or equivalent
- a minimum of 3 years related administrative support experience, preferably in a school environment
- excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- exceptional customer service orientation
- Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, PowerSchool
Rate of Pay
$22.64 - $28.70 per hour
