Job Summary
Rack N Road a locally-owned outdoor and automotive parts retailer and installation center specializing in setting up people's vehicles so that they can get out and enjoy the outdoors, is looking to hire 2 people for Full and/or Part-time hours in our Bellevue store.
Rack N Road Car Racks and Hitch Superstores sell, rent, and install the racks (bike racks, ski racks, snowboard racks, kayak racks) of industry giants like Thule and Yakima. Rack N Road has cargo boxes for any budget, trailers, trailer hitches, and a wide variety of accessories for the inside and outside of your vehicle.
Primary Automotive Installer responsibilities include:
- Installing Car Racks, trailer hitches, and other related accessories on customers' cars in a timely fashion.
- Following appropriate safety measures at all times when working on customers' vehicles.
- Keeping the installation bay clean and organized.
- Post-installation interactions with the customer, explaining how the product works and what work was completed.
- Other duties as assigned by the Store Manager
Prior automotive experience is strongly preferred but not required if you are willing to learn. Must be comfortable using tools and working on cars. Bike and Auto Mechanics wanted. A positive attitude and great customer service skills are a must. We look for someone who is: Self motivated, a people person, and has a great work ethic. Love for the outdoors and/or cars is a plus. Flexible hours are available. Some weekend work is required.

Earning potential from $18.00+ per hour (Includes eligible monthly spiffs and incentives etc.). We also have a generous 401k for eligible employees and a generous employee discount.
