Direct Care Staff

The Fall River Deaconess Home is seeking Direct Care Staff (Sunday - Tuesday shift) to work in a supportive environment with youth who reside in our Program. Think of what a great opportunity this is to work a full time schedule in just three days!

Deaconess Home is a private, non-profit, community-based agency serving youth and their families. Deaconess provides educational, mental health, and health care services to youth and families. Deaconess employees approximately one hundred staff, offering a positive work environment where staff from all disciplines work together to provide high quality care.

Job Profile:

The successful candidate will have the following 48-hour sleep-in shift. This set schedule includes a weekly Wednesday staff meeting from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm to equal a 54-hour work week:

• 2:45 p.m. Sunday to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday
• Wednesday: 9am - 3pm

The successful candidate will:

• Provide primary support and supervision to youth
• Organize, facilitate and participate in recreational activities with youth
• Assist youth with daily living skills
• Complete daily service notes
• Attend mandatory trainings
• Utilize and implement behavior support techniques
• Model healthy boundaries and social skills within the program milieu
• Assist in community integration
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for youth

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Driver’s License
• Proof of vehicle insurance
• Pass all necessary background checks.
