Experienced Breakfast Brunch Line Cook
Job description
We are seeing a passionate cook, who loves good food and the excitement and pace of a busy restaurant. After eleven years on the road with our popular food truck, The Dining Car has expanded to a bakery, café and market in Newton Highlands. The demand for our breakfast all-day menu, sandwiches and salads has grown, and we will soon be adding a weekend brunch.
We are looking for a professional with skills on the line, someone who is organized, executes orders quickly and beautifully, and keeps a clean station. We need a team player. We are always innovating and we value your input and creativity.
Primary Responsibilities:
Open and set up line for service
Prep raw ingredients for service
Work hot line (grill and fry) for busy breakfast and lunch
Keep station clean, neat, and orderly
Work efficiently and quickly

The Dining Car began in 2011 as one of the first food trucks in Boston. We’re known for fast, friendly service and high quality, eclectic food. Our catering and events division has produced some of the largest catered food truck events in the country feeding hundreds of thousands of people!
We are growing! Our first retail location opened in Newton Highlands in March '22, featuring great coffee, breakfast, baked goods, a selection of the sandwiches and sides we’re known for, and a wide variety of prepared foods.
