Responsibilities of a grocery store packer :

Produce Packers are responsible for processing and preparation of fresh fruit and vegetable for retails
Ensuring sanitation of manufacturing equipment
Pick and packing orders for shipment
Organizing food products into bags/boxes to be distributed throughout the community
Working in a team to ensure efficiency
Assemble customer orders for delivery/pickup
Maintain orders according to each customer’s requirements
Ensure each order is prepared in accordance with all standards

Сualifications:

High school education preferred
Must be able to frequently lift 30 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Experience in the food department is not required.

Organized, diligent, with strong attention to detail

Endurance & positive attitude - we are on our feet for most of the day doing repetitive tasks, lifting and following detailed protocols

A sense of humour & enjoys working with others

Ability to multi-task, self-direct and keep a steady work pace

Good communication skills and willing to work with other team members in a constructive manner

Job Types: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule: 8 hour shift
