What are the Shifts/Hours?

One shift for

• 7am to 4:30pm
• Monday - Friday (Day Shift)
• Every Other Saturday - 7am to 12:00 pm

and one shift for a

• 7pm to 7:00am
• Continental (Day Shift)
• Monday to Thursday

What we expect you to do:

• Inspects incoming materials, removing non-conforming materials or items of zero values
• Sorts and deposits material into assigned location
• Process materials by breaking them down by commodity and removing all non-conforming material
• Identifies contaminated bales and prevents shipment of material that does not meet agreed upon specifications and arranges for remedial action
• Must be able to identify majority material types based on physical characteristics.
• Operates counterbalance forklift, loader, and skid steer in accordance with operation policies and procedures ensuring efficient material movement
• Unloading materials from trailers
• Sorting large or over size materials with skid steer
• Record and report all equipment damage and deficiencies to supervisor ensuring equipment is maintained in accordance with manufactures specifications
• Be prepared to work outdoors for sorting of wire in all seasons
• Other duties as assigned

You have:

• 1 year of experience working in a production, warehouse or landscaping environment
• 1 year of experience operating fork lift or skid-steer (bob-cat), preferred but not required
