Steady Hours - No Weekends - No Overnight Shifts

Job Summary: Responsible for the pricing and packaging of all goods for resale in the packing room. Assist assigned departments as needed.

Job Duties

- Slices/arranges cold-cuts into vacuum packing machines.
- Manually package goods into containers/ packaging
- Label, code and prepare product for shipping
- May assist with the production of food products
- Responsible for product quality and consistency
- Cleaning of equipment, machinery and floors
- All other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

- Comfortable working with raw meat products (beef, pork, chicken)
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive work for extended periods of time
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn
- Teamwork skills are required

Working Conditions and Environment

- Meat packaging and food manufacturing plant
- Physically demanding and fast paced work environment
- Early morning start (6 am Monday to Friday)
- Refrigerated (cool) environment
- Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation
