The Impact you will have in this role:
The HOPEX Application Support Sr. Associate will join DTCC's Process Excellence team, whose mission is to develop a process excellence mindset as part of DTCC's change management and design methodology and provide reliable process insights that inform business decisions. The COE partners with business areas to digitize their processes to enable resiliency and promote strategic business transformation through analytics and insights for efficiency, scale, and enhanced client experience.The individual will be in charge of managing the enterprise architecture tool (MEGA HOPEX, a cloud-based repository) that the Process Excellence team owns, working with end-users, the Process Excellence team, and the tool vendor's hosting, support, and professional services teams to ensure that the tool is functionally and technologically fit for purpose, with minimal incidents and issues.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and continuously improve the full customization lifecycle for the tool (functional and technical requirements, development, testing, and release into production), coordinating with all involved parties (e.g., product owner, testers, end-users, vendor hosting team, etc.) – maintain up to date records of all changes to the tool
- Ensure timely resolution and prevention of incidents / issues / problems – manage and continuously improve incident and problem management process (e.g., track and prioritize, issues, provide 2nd and 3rd line support, promptly escalate to vendor support team as appropriate, identify and address root causes, fix bugs, etc.) – maintain up to date records of all incidents and issues
- Provide thought-leadership on how to best use the tool’s functionalities to address current and future DTCC use cases, and collaborate with the Process Excellence team and stakeholders to enhance its functionality and usability
- Customize the tool: metamodel (attributes, attribute values, and associations), property pages, user interface, static website, workflows, data access rules, modeling rules, profiles, GraphQL APIs, etc.
- Manage day-to-day relationship with vendor
- Ensure the tool is up to date with the latest hotfixes and corrective patches and manage the migration to newer versions
- Support DTCC Application Development team for integrations of the tool to on-prem applications
- Ensure compliance with applicable DTCC policies and guidelines
- Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience
Talents Needed for Success:
- Proven ability to discharge the described responsibilities for enterprise architecture tools a must – experience with MEGA HOPEX a strong advantage
- Self-starter with a proven ability to prioritize, own, and drive projects, and quickly learn new concepts and frameworks
- Proficiency with MS PowerPoint and Excel, and with JIRA; proficiency with PowerBI a plus
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail to deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence
