General Summary:

Multi Physician Pulmonary practice looking for an experience LPN or Certified Medical Assistant. Candidate should be familiar with Radiology, scheduling, EKGs and DME orders. Experience in EMR system a plus. This is the place for you if you seek a supportive and oriented work environment. Compensation is competitive, based on experience. Assist Physician(s) with patient treatment, prepares patient for Physician(s), and performs various clerical duties and diagnostic testing.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

· Assist providers with patient care

· Complying with COVID 19 office guidelines

· Various clerical duties (i.e.: processing order to durable medical equipment companies, including oxygen and pap devices, hospital, and other related referrals)

· Escorting patients to exam room.

· Preparing exam rooms.

· Preparing patient for Drs. (i.e.: histories, blood pressure, vitals, etc.).

· Spirometry

· At the request of the physician, calling in prescription refills.

· Order and maintain exam room supplies and instruments.

· Follow up with lab work and/or x-rays.

· Administering injections.

· Other duties as assigned.

Required:

Excellent interpersonal skills required.

Team player

Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame.

Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.

Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.

Education:

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of practical /vocational nursing.

Current practical/vocational nursing license in state of Virginia is required.
