M-PATH Project Coordinator
We are seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE/40 hours) Project Coordinator for the Massachusetts Psychosis Access and Triage Hub (M-PATH), a program of the Brookline Center for Community Mental Health. M-PATH rapidly connects young people and families who are experiencing symptoms of psychosis with the help they need when they need it, including assessment of clinical need, care coordination, case consultation, and peer support.
The M-PATH Project Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for youth and families seeking services across Massachusetts, establishing an initial relationship by demonstrating a high level of empathy, cultural awareness, professionalism, and dependability. They will provide administrative support including managing and accepting referrals, completing new client registration, and responding to inquiries from potential clients, family members, or referring providers. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who wishes to gain some experience in the mental health field in preparation for ongoing work or education in the human services field.
M-PATH works closely with the CEDAR Clinic; one of the state’s leading centers for evaluation and treatment of young people aged 12-30 and their families who are at high risk for developing psychosis. CEDAR’s mission is to reduce the chances that an individual will develop a psychotic disorder, reduce stigma, and support client’s, their families, and other providers in understanding and managing psychosis-risk.

Key Responsibilities:
· Support youth, families, and health care providers in screening referrals and scheduling evaluations
· Support youth and families in completing registration paperwork and gather baseline and outcomes data
· Provide case management support for M-PATH callers
· Collaborate with family members, primary care physicians, and/or referring providers
· Assist with coordination of outreach, consultation, and support services activities including scheduling, event planning, evaluation and follow up as needed
· Attend treatment team meetings and participate in weekly discussions about youth and families
· There will be opportunities to observe and participate in training and seminars at CEDAR and in community settings
Education and/or Experience
· Bachelors of Science or Arts (preferably in Psychology, Social Work, or other Human Service related programs).
· License/Certification is not required.
· 1 years’ experience as an Intake Coordinator preferred.
Qualifications:
· A strong desire to learn and work in a team-based environment
· Strong verbal, organizational, and writing skills, attention to detail and ability to write clearly and complete collateral work in a timely manner
· Commitment to cultural humility when working with youth and families that are richly diverse in culture and background, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, religion, socioeconomic status, ability, etc.
· Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office.
· Fluency in another language (e.g., Spanish) is a plus.
· Enjoys and works effectively in culture of collaboration and ongoing change.
Hours and Benefits:
This is a full-time position, 40 hours/week. This is currently a remote position with potential for future hybrid (remote/in-person) work.
