DoGood Fundraising is a fundraising company which provides impactful non profits, charities, and artists with customized, and professional fundraising solutions at affordable rates.
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support all aspects of helping the team achieve their grant proposal development and grant writing goals for their clients. As a member of our team, you will contribute to working on projects that will help the company grow and support major events.
This is an ongoing part-time opportunity, work expectations are from Monday through Friday, fully remote, and any real-time communication will be through Google Chat, and Google Meet, including screen sharing.
Daily activities:
- Managing company emails and you will be responding to email queries and concerns and making sure that all emails are appropriately monitored and responded to through Gmail
- Creating meeting minutes and sending the client documents, managing event-related correspondence, and various resources, including logo artwork
- Scheduling reoccurring Google Meet meetings with our clients and rescheduling as needed
- File management by adding files to Google drive folders or Dropbox
- Other tasks as required
Weekly activities:
- Supporting the finance team with issuing invoices and following up on outstanding payments through email, phone, and the Wave application
- Manage the contact management creation, documentation of correspondence, emails, and logging calls
- Scheduling monthly Google Meet meetings with our recurring clients and rescheduling as needed
- Managing our website on WordPress at a junior level
Seasonal activities:
- Assistance with workshops and events with booking meeting rooms, local travel, accommodations, and supporting quarterly events
- Support planning for internal team events, including booking occasional catering, and travel
Who you are:
- Advanced knowledge of the Google Workspace, including mail, drive and calendar, and the Wave application
- Ability to manage time and multi-task to accomplish a multitude of tasks, with conflicting priorities and timelines
- Experience working a website and knowledge of using WordPress is an asset
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent computer skills, including experience in Microsoft Office
