Seeking a dedicated, trustworthy person to assist mature person with her projects, appointments and errands! Each day is different.

Multiple interests and a planner. Keeps up daily with online news--global, national and state.

Lives independently in her own cottage in Raleigh, with garden views from each window. Loves to share stories...from today to years past. Independent with helpers to assist. With Multiple Sclerosis she depends on a rollator for safety.

Time: 4-5 hours two/three days weekly--morning to early afternoon; perhaps more days in future. Part-time.

• Computer Savvy: Use of computers (Microsoft & Android devices, inc desktop, laptop & cell) with accuracy & ease. Knowledgeable about formatting, transcribing, occasional corrections, emails, texts and/or related areas.
• Photography skills, Online Posting Familiarity: Good writer with excellent English, photographic skills & color-savy. Creative. Accurate proof-reading.
• Scheduling/Calendar: Maintain calendar with appts & other notations, as needed.
• Transportation Helps/Errands: Out to lunch, grocery store, medical appointments, visit w friends, museums plus, plus.
• Brief walks together & encouragement for inside movements (ie exercise).
• Enjoys food prep, when needed.
• Ability to check vitals and monitor general health, if needed.

Qualifications/Skills needed:

• College degree preferred.
• Excellent references.
• Strong computer skills - use of Microsoft Word. Additional expertise in Apple a plus.
• Punctual. Trustworthy. Reliable. Smart & well-informed.
• Thorough. Accurate. Appropriate initiative. Follow directions well. Responsible.
• People-person, yet can be quiet!
• Confidentiality.
• Comfortable with phone use & conversation
• Safe driving record, of course.
• Speak English slowly and with clarity.
• No smoking. No fragrance.
• Covid-19 Vaccination AND Booster/s.
• Ability to update and maintain contact with individual and family member.

Start date: Early to mid-April (flexible) -- we seek the right 'fit' for our work together.

Pay: Paid weekly. Hourly pay, above minimum. Commensurate with strong experience.
