About this Position:

The Engineering Staff is responsible for ensuring New Model mass production readiness as well as maintaining and improving the overall sub-equipment/ programming related issue. This includes daily and monthly reporting and operation standard accuracy. Commits to achieving goals within guidelines to sole todays issues while keeping the future in mind.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support accident/safety counter measure activity
  • Investigate, develop, and implement countermeasures to resolve complex issues. Work with other departments and team members to gain consensus
  • Set up training of associates on molding machines
  • Laser and Drill machine programming
  • Planning and validation of equipment due to new model specifications
  • Design and Build Robot EOAT and adjustments
  • Countermeasure reoccurring problems through equipment modifications and/or design change to guarantee we are meeting Q and D targets. Work with the team to gain consensus while working well with cross functional departments.
  • Work with New Model to create Scope of Work and follows the E-Flow
  • Drawing verification for Tools and Dies / Understanding Design Changes and track
  • Generated technical reports and presents to different groups the results and follows PDCA on open items

Who we are seeking:

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 0-4 years of experience based on education.
  • Relevant Manufacturing Experience.
  • Department Knowledge of Equipment & Processes.

Required Education:

BS Degree in Engineering (No Experience) or Two-year Engineering Degree (w/ 4 years relevant experience).

Other job-specific skills:

  • Strong communication skills: Verbal and Written.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated experience assembling project schedules and Gantt charts.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able and willing to work flexible hours and weekends.
  • Must be available for occasional travel (Domestic and International)
  • Occasional overtime may be required without advance notice.
  • Presentations to management as required.
