Job Title: PROJECT COORDINATOR

Location: N Providence, RI, 02904 (HYBRID)

Duration: 1 Year

Client: RI Department of Administration

The State of Rhode Island, Department of Administration is seeking a consultant to assist with a variety of tasks within the agency. The official title of Project Coordinator does not encompass all areas of which the consultant will perform, they will also conduct some functions included in a Business Analyst and Project Manager role; however, they will not function entirely in either of those roles.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Scheduling meetings, document meeting minutes
• Research and analysis in coordination with Business and Technical Leads
• Data analysis and reporting
• Lead other efforts within IT and the Agency

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft to include:
• Word
• Excel
• PowerPoint
• TEAMS
• SharePoint

Excellent verbal and written communication skills:

• Ability and willingness to work on a variety of tasks with both IT and Agency functional Leads.
• Capacity to work within a complex and highly visible project.
• Exceptional decision-making skills.
• Ability and willingness to be onsite in Rhode Island on a TBD schedule. This is not a remote position.

PREFERRED:

· Jira experience and/or Confluence experience

· Previous experience working in the capacity of a Business Analyst or Project Manager

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $50.00 per hour
