Job description
Our company is seeking a Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests and clients coming into the office. We’re looking for someone who has exemplary communication skills and uses positive language when interacting with people. You must also be a good multitasker as you will be in charge of all correspondences coming in– phone calls, deliveries, walk-ins, and scheduled visitors. You must be able to work gracefully even under pressure. You should also be a team player as you will be interacting with colleagues and superiors alike.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service.
- Greet visitors and guests with a positive attitude.
- Assist guests in navigating through the office.
- Answer phone calls and transfer when necessary.
- Help maintain security in the office by checking in visitors, issuing badges, collecting ID, and maintaining a visitors’ log sheet.
- Help with other administrative tasks including printing, faxing, photocopying, preparing minutes of meeting, and making travel arrangements.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and other deliveries.
Requirements:
- Knowledge in operating office equipment including printer, fax machine, photocopying machine, and scanner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge in MS Office.
- Proficient in multitasking.
- Knowledge in a calendar management tool is an advantage.
- Professional manner, and can easily build rapport with a variety of customers
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $36,000.00 - $119,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- New York, NY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
