Job Title: Endoscopy RN
Location: Charlotte, NC (
Salary: $2800 Weekly
We are currently seeking an experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Charlotte, NC. In this role, the RN will provide compassionate care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties, including:
Responsibilities:
- Preparing patients for procedures by reviewing pre-op instructions, assessing their medical history, and ensuring their comfort throughout the process
- Administering medications and anesthesia as needed
- Assisting the physician during procedures by passing instruments and providing any necessary support
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and post-operative status to ensure their safety and comfort
- Educating patients and their families on post-operative care instructions
- Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring that all documentation is complete and up-to-date
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in endoscopy or a related field
- Strong knowledge of endoscopic procedures and related equipment
- Ability to handle stressful and challenging situations calmly and professionally
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts and schedules
