Education: Highschool or GED equivalent
Job Description: Franklin Gas & Oil Co. is seeking a Roustabout crew member. Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry is not required for this position. The Roustabout crew member will assist in a variety of oilfield services to ensure wells and equipment are in peak operating condition. Opportunity for advancement available, on the job training provided.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting on the Service Rig for regular well maintenance (Pump changes, etc.)
- Production Tank installation and repair
- Installation and repair of piping and flow lines (steel, plastic, etc.)
- Loading, transportation, and unloading of materials and equipment
- Construction of facilities according to site plans by installing valves, pumps, separators, fittings, and other oilfield-related equipment
- Perform location maintenance, cleanup, and general housekeeping tasks as needed
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Must hold a valid driver license and have a good driving record
- Ability to use hand tools to perform equipment maintenance
- Basic math skills and understanding of how to read gauges, dials and other indicators
- Effectively able to communicate with supervisor and follow instructions
- Observes safe working practices, safety rules and regulations
Physical requirement:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to perform physical labor
- Must be able to work outside in varying weather conditions
Schedule: M-F (50 Hours)
