Sales/Commercial Account Manager (Speciality Lumber Sales)

We are a specialty wood products company with decades of experience selling materials to homeowners and contractors, alike. We are located in the Wheat Ridge area near I-70 and Kipling. We have been in the Denver area for 49 years!
We are looking for a candidate who will enjoy a mix of sales and office administration duties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying leads through a variety of sources. Once leads are identified, this candidate will rach out and meet with business decision-makers to better understand their business needs and how our products could help them.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the sale of existing and new retail customers at our lumberyard.
- Manage a sales funnel.
- Engage in the basic steps of selling - Qualify, Present and Close.
- Develop a limited number of leads into quotes.
- Nurture quotes through the buying process.
- Identify the correct decision makers within a given business.
- Close deals.
Qualifications:
- The potential candidate should have an interest in becoming a sales professional.
- The potential candidate should be a self-starter that is highly motivated to work in a fast paced team environment
- Applicant should be thorough and detail oriented.
- The potential candidate should have an interest in developing sales skills.
- Applicant should enjoy interacting with people.
- Applicant should be coachable and listen well.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required (it will reduce your learning curve)
- Must be comfortable and familiar with computers and technology. (Salesforce, Excel, Outlook etc.)
