RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Build client relationships primarily in the Corporate, Government, Leisure, Sports group and motor coach markets (to spend 70% of time in these markets).

3. Abide by the sales rate guidelines and confer with the hotel general manager for all rate decisions outside of written guidelines.

4. Make outside and telephone sales calls to uncover and book new business.

5. Complete all RFP’s in a timely manner

6. Participate in the Hilton Sales champion program

7. Assist the general manager in the managing of the hotel’s revenue yields.

8. Documenting the sales call process in sales files and submit weekly reporting every Fridays and month end report every 5th of the month to the GM & Director.

9. Create an atmosphere where caring for the guest is job one and the 100% Satisfaction Guarantee is embraced by all associates.

10. Being available to welcome groups during arrival and departure to ensure a smooth transition for their stay

11. Comply with all maintenance handling procedures, lost and found procedures, “Service Basics” usage and the use of the “Guest Recovery” programs.

12. Protect the hotel asset through ensuring compliance with brand, industry and ownership standards for safety and security programs, key control, operations, health regulations, etc.

13. Manage sales expenditures to ensure financial performance levels exceed budgeted profit margins by obtaining expenditures approvals, participating in inventory management and maintaining the hotel’s budget.

14. Comply with the hotel’s policies and procedures as described in the Associate handbook.

15. Ensure that the sales office(s) are clean, orderly, and well maintained.

16. Complete office-related paperwork and reporting accurately and on time.

17. Perform other duties, tasks or requests that may not be listed above as assigned by your supervisor/manager to ensure efficient operation of the department and hotel.

18. Participate in MOD shifts

19. Assist front desk when required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $53,072.00-$70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (required)

Experience:

  • Hotel sales: 2 years (required)
