Tax Preparer/Reviewer
Established and reputable CPA firm in beautiful Prescott, Arizona seeking part time or seasonal, experienced tax professional that can prepare and review tax returns for tax season 2022 and beyond

Tax Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently prepare business, individual, exempt org. and Trust tax returns
• Act as a mentor to less experienced staff; review their work and provide guidance
• Research complex tax issues
• Perform tax planning for clients and answer tax questions
• Ensure the confidentiality of each client by following all company procedures regarding information handling
• Attend to the needs of clients to inspire them to refer the service and come back the following year

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or above required (in Accounting, Tax or Finance a plus)
• 5+ years relevant tax experience (able to review staff returns)
• Knowledge and use of Lacerte strongly desired
• Impeccable math and accounting skills
• CPA or EA a plus
• Proficient QuickBooks user (and ability to train others)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and efficient computer skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
