Project Details:

This position is responsible for developing data analysis to support disruptive new products that enable the next generation of the client’s solutions. The person will be working directly with new, cutting-edge products and handle requirements coming from the executive team and the CEO. The role requires a very good understanding of extracting the data, analyzing it, and providing insights to drive business decisions.

Profile Description

Essential Functions:

• Analyze and interpret data and provide insights for business to take meaningful action
• Collaborate with various teams to collect data and Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions.
• Advance the BI Insights team towards predictive analytics
• Build up the BI organization to best serve the purpose of our client
• Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction
• Support analysis and visualization of data for various stakeholders. Support of our Business Intelligence tool (Domo) – Playing a key role in the automation of transparent reporting and communication across the organization
• Establish and evolve KPIs to support business needs
• Serve as a subject matter expert on tools and datasets and actively mentor and support analysts
• Develop best practices for cross-functional knowledge transfer and documentation
• Own projects end-to-end, from initial requirements and data gathering to analysis and final deliverables
• Efficiently handle ambiguity and multiple competing priorities.
• Demonstrate a positive and ethical work style.

Requirements:

• BS in CS, MIS, or related technical degree
• Must have strong analytical skills, curiosity, and passion for working with numbers
• 5+ years' hands-on SQL experience writing complex SQL queries and enhancing data models
• Experience querying databases and familiarity with python
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Domo is a plus)
• Experience using Web Analytics (Google Analytics is strongly preferred)
• High level written and verbal communication in both general and technology-specific applications

Salary: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
