Overview
Responsible for supporting the Financial Operations team in analyzing and reporting key financial and operational metrics to field leadership to optimize performance. Also responsible for assisting the Sr. Director of Financial Operations in completing departmental and cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Responsible for supporting the Financial Operations team in analyzing and reporting key financial and operational metrics to field leadership to optimize performance. Also responsible for assisting the Sr. Director of Financial Operations in completing departmental and cross-functional projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Gathers data from internal systems, performs analysis, and reports results.
- Collaborates with RDFOs to complete daily / weekly / month-end deliverables.
- Participates in the annual budgeting process.
- Creates presentations for Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs) at the Pod and Regional level.
- Initiates or responds to requests and other inquiries regarding financial analysis support or other financial matters from various Amedisys teams and departments.
- Conducts financial analysis, modeling, and projections for merger and acquisition opportunities in support of the RDFOs.
- Assists with financial training for field leadership.
- Cross trains with other members of the Financial Operations department.
- Complies with policies, procedures and regulatory mandates including but not limited to abiding to the terms of the Amedisys Compliance Program.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required-
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; relevant work experience may be
- substituted if Bachelor's degree is in another field .
- Three (3+) years' relevant professional experience.
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated knowledge and experience in Excel .
- Proficiency in PowerPoint .
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred-
- Healthcare industry experience.
- MBA or related Master's degree.
