Responsibilities:

  • Develop a firm understanding of creative direction based on founder vision, and be able to produce collateral in-line with that direction
  • Support all creative initiatives across retail, traditional marketing, digital marketing and events by conceptualizing graphic brand campaigns and the creation of creative assets and on a daily basis.
  • Manage the development and review the quality and accuracy of large-scale project designs
  • Keep a pulse on the culture of product design amongst designers (and design partners) to ensure the highest level of work
  • Work closely with the Senior Project Manger to ensure deadlines are met and progress is communicated crossfunctonally
  • Build a relationship with founders and present branding and strategy work for key launch moments
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, editorial, and creative production teams in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment
  • Manage multiple projects and remain flexible through multiple revisions while keeping a keen attention to detail.
  • Contribute in team brainstorming sessions with Marketing and Ecommerce to develop and execute digital, retail and social campaigns for the brand
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for design
  • Support team to disrupt, improve and evolve ways of working when necessary
  • Ensure all work areas meet quality and license partner compliance standards
  • Establish creative strategy, budgets and schedules for key design projects
  • Operationalize and implement a standard system for design delivery
  • Assist with social media photo assets as needed


Requirements:

  • Strong sense of design, image manipulation and cropping skills, keen eye for typography, visual hierarchy, and composition.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, in a fast-paced environment, while always delivering creative that is accurate, innovative and consistent attention to detail
  • Embraces start-up dynamics and thrives wearing many hats while meeting objectives and working collaboratively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and positive work ethic
  • Ability to apply creativity to projects while working within brand identity design guidelines
  • Strong leadship skills


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of design experience at agency, brand, and/or retail
  • Related experience in beauty, fashion and/or lifestyle brands preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere)
  • BA or higher degree in Graphic Design or Fine Arts preferred
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating an ability to develop ideas with exceptional design quality for a broad range of digital/social channels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
