Do you love applying Agile and Lean practices to maximize team performance and deliver software and digital transformation projects that meet or exceed client expectations? Combining the roles of Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Scrum Master, we are looking for a Solutions Enablement Consultant to own small projects, collaborate on large or complex projects, and help guide clients craft the project vision and roadmap.
As a Sourced Consultant you will:
- Manage cloud assessment, migration, and software projects from initiation to close
- Scope projects with budget and level of effort estimates
- See the big picture and lead the team toward accomplishing strategic objectives by leading a team or team of multiple teams
- Act as the central communication point between the client and the project team. Identify and communicate risks, propose mitigation solutions, and understand when and how to escalate
- Guide and coach the project using the appropriate agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc) project methodologies
- Update product documentation and architecture with the help of the technical lead
- Enable digital transformation by mentoring and training internal and client teams in agile processes and other new skills to increase predictability, collaboration, and quality practices. Carry this vision by communicating topics to leaders
- Ensure projects are appropriately staffed by collaborating with technical and resourcing leadership and offering staffing recommendations
- Elicit and analyze technical requirements
- Create and update tickets (JIRA, Rally, etc) throughout the sprint, ensuring they are clear, accurate, and complete
- Drive continuous improvement through analysis of metrics such as work velocity, cycle time, and defect density
- Support the team in analysis and transformation exercises
- Share team successes, lessons learned, and opportunities for improvement with internal and client leadership
What you will bring to the role:
- Experience managing projects in a variety of different technology environments, such as:
- Web and mobile applications
- Proprietary platforms with front- and back-end systems
- Platform as a service
- Cloud virtualization
- Cloud security projects in highly regulated environments
- Active enjoyment of technology and proven history of growing technical knowledge
- Understands concepts that lead to good software
- Reads and understand software requirements and wireframes
- Experience writing clear and effective user stories and requirements
- Experience with issue tracking systems (specifically JIRA and the JIRA Agile module or Rally) and diagramming tools (such as Visio or LucidChart)
- Availability to travel for client engagements, as needed, up to 50% (no travel during pandemic)
- A bachelor's degree in a related area and 3+ years of experience in the field or 5+ years of experience in the field
- PMP, ACP, SAFe, or CSM certifications are a plus
