The Senior Graphic Designer is a key role in an energetic marketing team and requires collaboration with multiple teams, business units, and company leadership. This is a senior role that is integral in helping to guide and build a strong visual identity and presence in all areas of print, visual design, digital marketing, and events.

The Senior Graphic Designer is able to balance high level, strategic brand thinking with creative, detail-oriented design sense.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain Eurofins Discovery visual identity system, helping to implement a consistent & clear brand across all print, digital and event assets.
• Create innovative and powerful designs that support and reinforce the Eurofins Discovery brand and business objectives across print and digital channels.
• Take a proactive role in brainstorming sessions and design reviews.
• Provide high quality service to the marketing team and other stakeholders. Be a source of knowledge and creative troubleshooting to get projects and campaigns completed on time & on budget.
• Communicate design direction and value clearly and influentially.
• Present design work to stakeholders for review and feedback
• Stay on top of what's new in design, identifying opportunities to experiment with new methods and bring new best practices into the marketing team.
• Coordinate with vendors - obtain quotes from print vendors, submission of design files
• Lay a solid foundation of best practices for creative design at Eurofins Discovery.

• Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience working as a graphic designer in an in-house corporate environment or design agency.
• 3-5 years’ experience, preferably in B2B, Biotech and/or agency environment
• Skills in preparing images for the web, digital illustration, video editing
• Proficiency in Adobe software – especially Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat
• An eye for detail with a strong understanding of design principles, color, typography, and layouts.
• Driven, efficient, flexible and agile self-starter. Must be nimble with stopping and switching directions with tight deadlines.
• Outstanding team player: excellent collaboration skills, service-oriented personality.
• Strong project management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Understand brand/visual identity systems and ensure consistency with design system and guidelines.
• A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating strong design skills and branding experience across multiple touch-points.
• Experience creating designs for a variety of mediums including: print, online, Powerpoint presentations and event graphics.
• Solid understanding of online production as well as knowledge of printing process, materials and proofing methods.
• Ability to attend press-checks when necessary.
• Strong understanding of the principles of design, typography, composition, photography and color for print.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Exceptional skill level with standard Adobe Creative Suite especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
• Experience with life science or drug discovery companies preferred.
• Experience with multidivisional company preferred.

Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000/per year
