Job Details:
Location: Springdale, AR or Remote
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for working on a team of incident response analysts. They will be responsible for the investigation, analysis, and response to incidents with the Tyson environment. They will perform tier 2/tier 3 response activities and analysis and will operate independently of the SOC. They will facilitate internal red, blue, and purple team exercises and will assist with investigative efforts. They will support some security infrastructure solutions and will assist with the setup and creation of logging infrastructure and automation routines in (SOAR) platforms.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience: College degree (or equivalent experience) with 4 + years of progressive experience in business or IT environment or advanced degree with 3 + years of progressive experience.
Must have the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical team members. Practical knowledge of network security and vulnerability management scanning and remediation techniques; ability to analyze and interpret information technology proposals and evaluate and develop alternative implementation plans.

Role Specific Responsibilities:
Required Knowledge/ Skills:
- 4 + years of experience in Information/Cyber Security or related area with relevant experience.
Working knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and basic endpoint security principles- Identify, capture, contain, and report malware (S0003)
- Preserve evidence integrity according to standard operating procedures (S0047)
- Secure network communications (S0077)
- Recognizing and categorizing types of vulnerabilities and associated attacks (S00 78)
Perform damage assessments (S0080)- Design incident response for cloud service models (S0365 )
- Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail
- The ability to think creatively to find elegant solutions to complex problems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The desire to work both independently and collaboratively with a larger team- A willingness to be challenged along with a strong appetite for learning
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4 + years of experience in Information Security, Security Operations, Incident Response, etc. (or related field)
Demonstrated ability to analyze and correlate information from a wide variety of enterprise technologies- Demonstrated experience managing log management, automation platforms, and other security technologies
- Understanding of common security threats, attack vectors, vulnerabilities, and exploits
- CompTIA Network+/Security+, GIAC (GCIA, GCIH, GSEC, GCFA, GCFE, etc.), CISSP, CEH or related certification(s) desired
