Job Description

Looking for a Server Engineer with Windows System Admin experience to support projects and applications. This position is largely focused on the application layer of the infrastructure. Current projects include upgrading all systems that are still tied to 2008 servers and implementing a sender policy framework (SPF) in their email system to reduce spam for the entire organization. Responsibilities include automating projects through scripting, server administration of 2008/2012, Group Policy management, Citrix Server management, web administration (Drupal, Apache, Tomcat, IIS), documentation, and network device management. Team members also have the opportunity to act as project managers and manage project timelines for projects that they are assigned to. This position is primarily a Windows Engineering role but have a growing footprint of Microsoft 365 products (O365, Sharepoint, TEAMS) and have a small Linux footprint.

This team's workload is around 40% technical work, 30% working with customers to define and coordinate projects, and 30% documenting best practices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Candidate must posses strong people and customer services skills, experience running their own infrastructure projects, proactive, and highly dependable etc. Candidates with experience with electronic medical records in a healthcare environment is a plus.
