At Nanohmics, we perform research on cutting-edge technologies, and our scientists and engineers need support getting projects across the finish line. We are seeking a full-time technical admin / technical copywriter who can help prepare documents, manage administrative activities, and provide general ad hoc support to a variety of research programs. Previous experience with government solicitations, such as SBIRs or BAAs, is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will have experience in copy editing, strong familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, attention to detail, and a generalized background or strong interest in the physical sciences and related technologies. To show your attention to detail, please include a brief cover page and sign it with your name, followed by your favorite scientific principle or breakthrough—for example, “Candidate Name, fan of Kepler’s Laws”. We’ll also be happy to review links to any portfolio work you want to share.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review, edit, and organize semi-technical project documentation and content
  • Support the development of templates for reports, presentations, and proposals
  • Review documents to ensure they are in compliance with various requirements
  • Support hiring and recruiting activities, such as managing online job postings and scheduling of interviews
  • Collaborate with the technical team to support the presentation and documentation of research activities, which can include developing website content, press releases, posters, and glossies
  • Support teams that are working under deadlines
  • Support miscellaneous office administrative activities, such as managing customer visit agendas and company events

Qualifications

  • Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and composition
  • Strong organizational, editorial, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate successfully with multiple project teams
  • Strong familiarity with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other Microsoft Office products
  • Detail-oriented
  • Basic graphic design/graphic editing skills
  • Ability to manage time independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
