Whether it is in one of our dealer locations or on-site with a wholesale customer, Plaza Tire Service is dedicated to providing an exemplary customer experience. A friendly, customer-focused attitude is expected of all Plaza Tire Service employees.

We are looking for a qualified salesperson to service and grow accounts in an existing business territory. Our ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work well with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products and the features/benefits of each in order to provide relevant suggestions/insights to customers
  • Grow existing customer relationships through regular contact by phone and in person and relevant suggestions for customers to grow their revenue
  • Identify new business opportunities and initiate communication with decision makers
  • Develop profitable and sustainable sales growth by selling tires and other items, including but not limited to wheels, wheel weights, valve stems, etc.
  • Maintain a positive attitude with entrepreneurial spirit
  • Accurately convey orders to Cape Girardeau Distribution Center for delivery as scheduled
  • Follow up/collect from past due accounts
  • Attend weekly sales meetings at Cape Girardeau Distribution Center

Qualifications and Skills

Plaza Tire Service will train the right person for its territory sales representative position. The most successful applicants have these attributes:

  • At least five (5) years of work experience in business-to-business sales
  • Proven sales record from previous employment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail

Plaza Tire Service requires the following of all territory sales representatives:

  • Valid drivers license with Class E endorsement
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Complete and authorize a background check subject to Plaza Tire Service’s corporate approval
  • Ability to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds
  • Ability to stand/walk a minimum of eight (8) hours

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $95,000.00 per year
