Job description
3rd Shift Truck Driver is responsible for transporting, occasionally loading and unloading of goods from the Company (internal Warehouse to Warehouse transfers), and inbound raw and finished goods from Suppliers/Vendors. Must have up to date DOT Certificate - Hazmat Trained. This would pertain to traveling between plants you would start your shift and end your shift in Brighton transporting between Brighton and Fowlerville.
1) OUTCOME: Produce daily vehicle inspection reports
· Complete forms for tractor, trailers and tankers
· Provide daily fuel documents to manager

2) OUTCOME: Review and complete Driving Schedule on a daily basis
· Complete runs according to set schedule
· Assist in loading if necessary to ensure maximum amount of transfers are completed.

3) OUTCOME: Ensure accuracy of shipments and loads
· Load and unload prepared shipments ensuring proper items are loaded/and unloaded
· Verify BOL’s are completed properly, placards (if required) and only quality items are loaded
·
4) OUTCOME: Communicate clearly with manager on any problems with schedule or truck
· Provide handwritten documentation of the issue

5) OUTCOME: Maintain clean driving record.
· Maintain CDL
· Maintain DOT certification
· Maintain all requirements ie physical, eye exam etc.
6) OUTCOME: Assist with Warehouse Operations as time permits
· Put-away practices and replenishment of picking aisles as well as process BOL’s & other shipping manifest
· Prepare items for shipment, pull items for shipment, verify for accuracy
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
