Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 per year
Shift: 1st Shift - Mon-Fri, 8:30am to 5:30pm

Summary:
The role of the UI/UX Developer is to define site objectives, envision system features, maximize functionality, and optimize the user experience. The UI/UX Developer will do front-end designing and development of user interfaces and make aesthetic updates for new and existing web and mobile-based applications. Communicates & collaborates with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to develop rich user experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and graphic layouts to communicate functionality and presentation of complex interfaces to both executives and developers.
- Create Visual Design Comps and conduct rapid prototyping
- Able to work confidently and creatively on ambiguous problems
- Perform user research to better understand problems and validate solutions
- Execute fresh design and layout within branding guidelines
- Constructively challenge existing approaches to push for better user experience
- Communicate and Collaborate with cross-functional teams (stakeholders, managers, developers, etc.)
- Work with team members to define requirements and system interfaces
- Apply knowledge of layout principles, information architecture, human factors, and web standards to develop ideas from the concept stage to the final markup
- Test appearance and functionality of web and mobile content
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a design related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in a professional environment
- 2+ years of UX/UI Design and Web Design Roles including B2C and B2B web design experience
- Experience with ASP.NET 4.5 Webforms a plus
- Experience with JavaScript and jQuery a plus Attention to detail
- Experience working with remote teams
- Experience with Project Management Software and Digital Asset Management Systems
- Ability to interpret design and vision into web content, including branding, typography, layout, image production, page integration and user experience
- Skilled creating wireframe and prototype using tools like Adobe XD, Sketch
- Competency in Adobe Creative Suite Products or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
- Proficient in responsive web design, web standards and mobile human interface
- Good working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Bootstrap
- Strong understanding of the latest UI/UX methodologies
- Solid understanding of multi-browser, multi-platform, multi-screen size compatibility challenges
- Basic understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development and deployment
- Familiarity with Atomic Design Methodology is a big plus
- Excellent oral and written English language communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Self-directed and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Desire and ability to stay updated with design trends, and technologies for better user-centric design
