We are seeking a driven and motivated individual to join our team as a General Labourer.

The General Labourer will work alongside the foreman and crew to complete general construction duties.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various duties on construction sites including, but not limited to: Site preparation, moving materials, framing, dirtwork, etc.
• Clean up worksites from hazardous or obsolete material
• Assist welders, carpenters, painters or other tradespeople on-site
• Handle and transport materials and equipment
• Use power tools and machinery when needed
• Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks
• Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures
• Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions to site foreman

Qualifications:

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds and work outdoors)
• Provide your personal protective equipment including: steel toe boots, safety vest, hard hat and eye protection
• Provide your own basic tool belt with tape measure, hammer, pry bar, speed square, and pliers
• Valid class 5 driver’s license and can provide your own transportation to and from job site
• Positive attitude, good work ethic and able to work in a team environment.

Salary: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
